The battery pack is an alternate way to provide power to the lock only in the event of a power failure.
Locate the backup power connector located on the right side of the product delivery chute, plug the backup battery pack into it, press and hold the red button down on the battery pack and open the vendor normally with the proper coded Key Fob.
